Everything about this dress is fabulous! I was immediately drawn to that bright, vibrant color and fabulous silk satin fabric - all the other details are just icing on the cake! A custom piece it is made of a hand dyed brilliant lime hued green and the silk satin allows for a depth and richness of color that no other fabric can quite convey. Cut almost starkly it is a A-line sheath that falls to the floor form the shoulder. It is backed in Muslin to give it a little weight but not to feel cumbersome to the wearer - this allows it to hold the almost sculptural shape better. Down the front is an elaborately beaded 3 dimensional Peacock whose feathers are highlighted by sequin work. A huge ascot/multi ended bow sits at the neckline. Insanely fabulous, hand finished and wonderfully constructed. Excellent condition.

Fully lined in a pale green muslin it closes with a back painted zipper. Hand beaded and sequined. Hand finishes. One teeny, faint mark on the front that looks like it is from a pen - may come out with another cleaning.
